- A complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained by the recombination of hydrotreated gas oils and hydrotreated naphtha. It is composed primarily of alkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C4 to C40. It has an aromatic content of greater than 5% and boils in the range of approximately 10 degrees C to 540 degrees C (50 degrees F to 1004 degrees F).
